Since the GA Trouble Softball Organization began in 2006 we have had 87 players receive offers to play collegiate softball, which was 100% of our eligible players with offers!
The girls range in age from 8 to 19 representing the counties of Cobb, Cherokee, Gwinette, Bartow, Douglas, Forsyth, Haralson, Gilmer, Floyd, Gordon, Polk, and Paulding.
Players in the organization develop their skills under the direction of Deb Sonnenberg, a 1996 Canadian Olympic pitcher and former college coach. Everyone in the organization is learning the skills not only on the softball field, but also in the areas of weight training and conditioning, mental preparation, nutrition, and leadership. All players have the opportunity to work on their skills, while having fun and improving the quality of their game.
The upcoming season will be very competitive and demanding as each of the teams will be qualifying for national championship tournaments. The older players will be attending the largest college exposure tournaments in the country. In order to accomplish these goals our teams will be traveling to Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, Colorado, and South Carolina.
Georgia Trouble is a not-for-profit 501 (C)3 organization, which expects that donations are tax-deductible. Various sponsorships opportunities are available and appreciated.
